I have often wondered how to make a ticklee more ticklish ie how to improve on the sensitivity of your ticklee for the benefit of both parties.I have often seen referrences in fiction stories to the all powerfull "tickle serum" and other mysterious potions administered to helpless naked girls in order to highten their ticklish predicament, but fantasy is sadly not fact and I have failed to find a chemist (drug store to you lot) who stocks this kind of drug!! so what I am asking is peoples ideas on "practickle" solutions to my query.I am not just thinking of drugs or other chemical stimulants but all aspects of the ticklees potential ie room temperature, diet, things that can be applied to the skin before hand, the environment in which the tickling takes place, etc etc basically any thing that people have tried or heard about that can be shared.I look forward to reading what you all come up with, mean while i,m off down the off licence (liquer store to you lot) to see if they sell the bloody stuff......"just off down the shops dear, wont be long!!"

During a recent Hyena's Club gathering in South New Jersey, I learned that by heating up the surface of the skin, the sensitivity is heightened. For example, we carefully used a blow dryer on the surface of the soles of the feet to make them more responsive to tickle. I'm not quite sure that this would work as well on the rest of the body. You may cause serious injury to the less calloused areas of the body. Maybe someone else will share info on how we can make the skin more sensitive.

What works for me as the ticklee is "taunting" and antagonizing me with threats of tickling. This makes all my nerves stand at attention and then before I can say "Rumplestilskin" I'm attacked mercilessly be my Husbands mouth and fingertips!!

The blow dryer idea came from a fellow TMF member, TTD I believe.

I'm sure this is one among many ideas to pop up on this thread. Hope this helps.😀

By the way, great topic!

Room Temperature...Warm.

Baby oil applied to all ticklish spots especially the feet!

Hair Drier: heat up them feet and other ticklish spots too for that matter.

A few glasses of wine won't hurt either taken internally before hand.

And a nice full body massage before hand too to relax the ticklee is a nice "touch".

The above methods have been tested and proven.

Muhaahahahaaa

tickles, teasing and taunts

red indian (hey, your name doesn't have anything to do with "Injun' Joe", the famous, ticklish native american of cartoon fame, does it??)

I can't comment on the physical aspects of making someone more ticklish, but I've thought a lot about psychological techniques. A couple weeks ago I responded to a post asking about ticklishness, part of which I quote below. I believe the key is creating the "playful attack" feeling within the ticklee and is done mainly with words and gestures. It is related very much to what Mistress Mia describes in her post about "taunting and agonizing me". You have to make the ticklee feel you are really going to "get" her or him. This is why all kinds of taunts and teasing (even "kitchie koo") can be massively effective as well as things like blindfolding someone, holding the person in a more vulnerable position, or wriggling fingers at them.

This is what I wrote on the subject--

Tickling is a kind of playful attack which causes the recipient to experience two different strong emotions at once. On the one hand, she or he is being "attacked" which creates some fear or anxiety, but at the same time, the ticklee knows it is not for "real", that the tickler is not really trying to hurt her or him. This living on two contradictory levels at once generates laughter as a release.

Being ticklish depends on the "ability" of the tickled person to perceive the touches as a (mock) attack. Some people will just never feel that having fingers moving around on the bottoms of their feet could really "get them". But the same person having one little pinky move closer and closer to her ribs or underarms could really feel "threatened" and out of control.

Control, or lack of it, is a key element. If you feel perfectly in control there is no threat, not even a playful one. This is why a lot of people say "I'm not ticklish, unless someone tickles me by surprise". It is not the "surprise" that makes them ticklish, it is that they were off guard and felt more vulnerable. Now they can sense the "attack".

The fact that ticklishness is part of a psychological "contest" is reflected in this: Many people are not so ticklish if they feel they can "get away" from the tickler whenever they want, but if they are "trapped" or "in your power", they go crazy. In other words, the very same physical sensations are experienced in very different ways emotionally. The feeling of being "in someone's power" can be established with words as much as with restraints.

good stuff!

hey good response people! the threads only been up about two hours and all the tickle doctors are giving their prescriptions, keep it coming my learned friends. As I say I want to hear about ALL aspects physical, phsycological, medicinal etc and hopefully we can mix it all up in a big cooking pot and come up with the perfect recipe for tickle utopia!!

My opinion is...

Hi there:

From personal experience, I can say that keeping the "victim's" body at room temperature is very effective. Rarely have I found a ticklish person in a cold room. Have you ever tried to tickle cold feet? A very tough job indeed.

(Winters are tough...) 🙂

Preparing the skin of the person to be dry, warm, and soft also helps tremendously.

Some times a little baby oil or soapy lotion helps to slide over the ticklish surface making the job easier.

A lot a verbal communication also helps preparing the "victim" mentally. For instance, "Does that tickle?", "Are you ticklish here?", etc.

One of the best things I have seen is to get to the feet as soon as you get rid of the socks. The skin is very soft, warm, and sensitive.

I hope this helps.

Bye,

Knight Tickler

keep em coming!

Thats a good one KT about the feet being very sensitive after the removal of socks, I have a story from Tobias Hackner which includes a segment where the naked girls feet are bound in layers of cotton wool while the rest of her is tickle tortured, then after the feet have become warm and slightly moist from her tickle session the covering is removed and the girl is horrified at the increased sensitivity of her defenceless feet as a result of the binding, ahh......poor baby!!!

just a thought

I have read some where that the sensitivity of the skin is increased on a vegetarian diet, can any one illuminate this line of inquiry?

Heat...

Anyone who knows anything about me at all... some longtimers here, and others such as TTD and a few... know that I've beee using heat on soles snce the 1970's.... from hairdryers, to heat lamps, light to severe. This can be researched though magazines, articles, my photos, and also even the (yuck) Newsgroups from their start.

It has always been the number one proven method- when done right and the right mental attitude and verbiage used- to actually improve ticklishlness... sending some males and females right off the roof!

Strangely enough- for many years I was criticized and slammed because of my methods: how "harsh" it was and "too cruel"... I was called a sadist and all that from those that knew little about anything, including tickling and s/m.

But now- suddenly- it's the "in" thing... and everyone thinks it's so "new and revolutionary", claiming they discovered it and did it first and all this: which is silly because it was around forever- at least as far back as me and maybe further- but denounced by the tickling community. I guess it really doesn't matter- I am happy though that finally this great method is seeing the light of day finally and only wish people had listened way back when!

There's a million variations- one we like a lot is oiling the soles and then heating them until the victim begs or howls for tickling instead- yet, as they do, they KNOW the tickling will be 1000 times worse.... so essentially they're forced to choose between the two evils.

At our Inquisiton events, heat lamps are used (in lieu of the orignal ancient coal filled braziers for safety)... many times combined with itching powder... and the torment of heat is used unto itself, with the side effect being the the feet are made more sensitive until they confess- then tickling is applied. But these lean towards more intensity than I am allowed to speak of here.

The one saftey factor to employ is this: when using a hair dryer at close range, ALWAYS keep it moving, albeit s-l-o-w-l-y...

Experiment and enjoy.

itching powder

Wow! thanks for that comprehensive and heart felt contribution,a valuble addition to the thread K!! you mentioned itching powder in your piece, this again is one of those weapons of torment that is used in fiction stories but does it really work? what is it made of? and how do you get hold of it? give us a follow up K or anyone else who can tell us more about itching powder.I read a story the other day which used menthol, can any one tell us more about this? how do you get it and does it work? keep it coming all you tickle doctors!!!

RE: itching powder

This is one of those things that I've written extenively on, so others may just wish to skip this.

To answer you, yes- it does work....IF you get the real stuff. and thats the hard part. I get mine from a pal in Amsterdam when he comes over- it's the only real powder I've found that works. Forget the joke store stuff. Likewise to fiberglass (a big NO NO) and other weird concoctions you're told about. The reason I stopped writing about it was because inevitably someone got hurt using it- and then tried to say that "I" told them to use it in that fashion.... which I never did. I have always said to keep it off genitals and eyes....and never use it orally or internally.... but people sometimes don't listen.... he didn't listen, and got it on both.

If you're into a heavier scene, more intense than dictates here, I'd be happy to talk to you in priavte email ([email protected])... but others here may take offense to itching powder chat- calling us sadists- so perhaps (like heating soles) the interest isn't here yet for that particular torment. Give it another 20 years..

On our site we will have photos, some videos, it's uses, history, and even some recipes for it.

Blimey!!!

The mighty K ,playing the part of the beach bully, kicks sand in the face of red indian, at the seaside resort of "advanced tickle torture knowledge". Another great contribution from the "Emeritious proffessor" of tickling.I will take you up on your offer of a private chat, as long as there are no arm wrestling contests for me to loose or ritual humiliations in front of the high school cheer leaders!!! good stuff K you are THE MAN........unless someone else out there can top you?????

My opinion...

New posting here. Great forum.
I agree with Kujman1 (and others)-hotfoot (actually mildly heated) has been around a long time, me too since the 70's. I think it is among the best methods to increase sensitivity.
I personally stay away from the itching powders (simply because that eliminates my chances of nibbling toes, etc and I am not sure if the chemistry is safe to use).
My experience has been in these situations besides heat:
Lotion works well.
One girl friend I had was a little ticklish - but with the taunting teasing, the anticipation - got her going. When I would hold her so she could not get away, she was more ticklish. (less control of what was happening to her???) When she discovered that it was a thing of mine, she told me that her young son would sometime tickle her feet, and she wasn't ticklish, but when I held her, she would go crazy.
Hope this helps.

Thanks again

Two more good replies, great stuff! Nice addition by Fat boy, bringing in the anticipation and increased vulnerability angles, its all going in that big ticklish cooking pot, ready so be served up to some very unfortunate ticklee!! keep it coming my learned friends.

And yet, nobody mentioned...

sexual excitement of the ticklee.
a ticklee who's aroused is so much more ticklish! it's like the arousal and ticklishness heighten each other. a ticklee on the edge of orgasm, or right after one, turns so ticklish virtually everywhere.

Good point

yep thats a good one DEW I have seen a number of stories where the ticklee is forced to orgasm first, and only then does the tickling start, is it true that this kind of tickle is much worse? i.e. better?and of course the debate on the relation between sex and tickling is a big one!

Another thought

Can any one testify to the effectivness of laughing gas (nitrous oxide I think) is it safe? and does it work?

red indian, I must strongly advise against the use of laughing gas. In fact, it was used by dentists long ago to reduce sensitivity, so it's not enhancing ticklishness at all, however much the recipients giggle.

It is no longer in use for medical purposes because of its frequent side effects, ranging from headaches and digestion disorders to lasting damages to the brain. For some people, it has the same effects as glue-sniffing if using it too long.

Absolutely right!!!

I cannot agree with Haltickling more! Please heed all he says.

I've seen and known those that did not, and not only had those side effects- but others as well...and as with chloroform (which I've played with and also advise against), one can easily go into a "sleep" that they "aint gonna come back from, bro!".

It does NOT increase sensitivity- as he says- it DEcreases. Ticklers have often fantasized about it, and made up facts (just like in "historical" tickling) that simply aren't true in order to feed themselves.

Kuj,
You are still on the face of this earth!!! I thought you fell off. Please, get in touch with me. I hope you will re surface and come to a gathering soon. I still want to experience ALL your "sadistic" methods.

Jen
