I think it's fairly obvious. If Chelsea had lost their last game, we would have had a shot at the title THIS year. By handling arsenal with ease, I think we have shown we have the best form in the league right now. It's only a matter of time...

I personally can't wait till we play chelsea at stamford bridge... I say we win 2-1.

What do the rest of you EPL fans think?

That's a big statement, no doubt Man U are playing good now and Chelsea are now starting dropping points but they are all but holding the trophy up and with the end less amount of money that they have and the arrival of Ballack (Podolski will fill his hole at Bayern) will only make them better.

Its obvious that Arsenal are playing only for the Champions League now so how much they are putting in the league is questionable.

Quite honestly I would of loved to see Man U win the games they should of at the start of the season because that would of made it go down to the final match days with them and Chelsea. If they buy well for sure they will be up there.

There is only one team who will win the league next season..... and that's Bolton Wanderers!!

Well, obviously not, but I think we might actually win something next season. I think of all the times United have gone after the title, this is the only time, in my mind, that they've truly deserved it - and they aren't gonna win it. Face it mate, Chelsea have it wrapped up. Even if you do beat them, which I don't think you will, they're not gonna lose all their remaining games. No chance. Gremio out of interest are you actually from Manchester?

Anyway, don't call it the "EPL", us Brits should protect our heritage on this forum!!

it`s great that they are finishing strong...next season Chelsea is in trouble.i`m hoping Heinze can get back.....big fan of his.

for gremio

C. Ronaldo is my favorite player......amazing!!

Man U are still going through a transition player wise. I still don't think they ae very strong in midfield, they've not really been the same since Beckham and Keane left.
I expect the league to be alot tighter at the top next year. With Chelsea and Man U obviously gonna be there. I think Arsenal will be a stronger team next season and i think Liverpool will be up there again too.

No, I was born here in America, my father is English, and he is a die-hard ManU fan. I've made many trips to manchester, and I consider it my real home.

The big match is coming up... Yes, our chance was dead after the draw with *shiver* ..... sunderland.

BUT! I still think we are going to beat chelsea... 2-1 ...

You heard it hear first!

LOL

Sorry to break it to ya man, but Sunderland has been relegated. They won't even be in the prem next season. ^^

With the way they've been playing, I don't think they will be back anytime soon, either.

Thats why the fact that we couldn't even scrape out a 1-nil win against them is... so pathetic. ><

Well Chelsea are beating Man U 1-0 right now, and if it stays that way Chelsea will win the league.

So, United are thumped at Stamford Bridge and Chelsea lift the Premiership trophy for the second consecutive season.

I've seen this coming for the majority of the season, so I'm less dejected than I might have been if I'd clung, like some, to the feeble hope that we could push Chelsea right to the wire and just beat them to it.

Our defending today was absolutely woeful. Ferdinand and Vidic in the middle...they were absolutely clueless. We need to spend in the summer if we want to actually mount a proper challenge next year.

At the end of the day I have to accept defeat gracefully and admit that Chelsea deserved to win the League. Sure, they got a lot of luck, and I reckon they put in far LESS good performances than United over the course of the season, but we blew it at several critical points, playing shite tactics and not taking our chances, and so we did not deserve to win the League. While I may find Chelsea to be overrated, they DID deserve to win it by default...because we didn't. Congratulations to them.

And I speak for all England fans when I pray that Wayne Rooney doesn't have a serious injury. Without him there is NO WAY we will win the World Cup.

I agree theshire. United played AWFUL today. I couldn't believe my eyes. The midfield is pretty shameful. I expect some moves to be made in the off-season. Rooney looked like he was in alot of pain, hopefully it's just a sprain. Seriously though, what was with the ref? Ronaldo was fouled on more than one occasion, and it didn't get called. They had to tackle him because it was the only way they could stop him.

Ferguson played down the injury after the game, according to the ManU website, so hopefully he will be ok. It said that he needed crutches to get on the bus though...We'll have to wait and see. I also agree, without Rooney, England has no chance. It would be like taking r10 away from Brasil.

Congrats to Chelsea...

Well... Rooney is out for at least 6 weeks...

Fractured foot. Not good.

United drew against middlesbrough... What the hell is wrong with these guys? The passing was terrible, and they didn't look alive until Ronaldo came on.

Ruud missing that penalty didn't help matters either.

There is much work to be done with this side.
