explain feet to me please! (are they the new breasts?)

Hey everyone,

The purpose of my post is to find out what it is about feet that causes such extreme feelings amongst so many people. I know people who hate them and can't stand to touch them and obviously many others who are foot fetishists. Now I myself (and I risk turning off a lot of you here) have never really had ticklish feet. Am I the only one? Believe me I enjoy the sensation of having them played with but it wouldn't make me squirm at all. My upper body is a different story, I am very ticklish there. I just feel like I am missing out on something maybe and I would love to know what it is that turns people on so much about feet. Hands, for instance do not have such a following!


My post is not meant as a criticism at all towards foot lovers it is genuine curiosity - perhaps you could share something with me that would help me to love them too!

Tickle me there, here's my assessment of it, (And yes, Iam one of those foot fetishists) LOL!
First let me say that since I have joined TMF I have talked to a lot of girls who have nominally or not ticklish feet. It surprised me at first, because in spite of having an ex girlfriend who wasnt ticklish anywhere, I thought that most women had at least moderately to very ticklish feet. Since I have come to TMF, I have found that isnt always true, and I have talked to many girls on here in the two years I've been here who either arent ticklish on their feet, or are only a bit ticklish on the feet.
As a foot fetishist, I enjoy feet for several reasons. I will admit that in addition to tickling, Iam into the other parts of foot worship like massage, foot kissing, and toe sucking. I love the way a pretty pair of feet look and feel, how ticklish they can be, and how the toes wiggle about on a girl if she is getting a good foot tickling. While I will admit it would be my preference to have a girl with very ticklish feet, if I met someone whose feet werent ticklish, and she had all the other qualities, I would be able to deal with it.
I have read in sex books that feet can be considered very erotic, especially during a massage, or foot worship. As you well know, how girls view feet can vary greatly. Some of them love to have their feet worshipped, kissed and tickled, and others cant stand it, either because of deathly ticklish feet, or not liking feet.
In conclusion, while I cant speak for others, for myself, as a guy, I enjoy feet because they can look pretty, feel soft if the soles are well kept, be very ticklish, and also be erotic when worshipping them. I dont exactly know why guys as a gender have foot fetishes, that might be a better question for a sociologist rather than a lay man guy. I only know why I myself enjoy feet, and I feel I have explained such. It will be interesting to see the responses you get to this thread, and how others react.

One final thing: I dont know if feet are exactly the new breasts as you say. I think there is a different kind of erotic excitement for breasts than for feet, at least in my opinion. I think it depends on the guy. For some it is just a part of the sexual experience, while for others it is the true fetish which can substitute for breasts. Again, it depends on the person.

I think actually this may explain why my feet aren't so ticklish - any early childhood memories I have of tickling tend to be armpit tickling - I don't remember ever having been tickled on my feet which may either be because it didn't tickle me that much therefore I don't remember it, or maybe BECAUSE i wasn't tickled on my feet when I was younger they didn't become one of my ticklish spots....interesting....

Having a fetish/ attraction to women with pretty feet IMO is either something a person is born with....or they are exposed too at a very early age. The reason I say that is those are the only reasons I can explain my own foot fetish....it just "happened"; something I discovered at age eleven.

I am fully aware there must be something there I am just wondering what - I can well understand that for some its impossible to put into words, while at the same time others have been able to say what it is about feet that they find sexy, and I think its interesting.

As for the things I am attracted to, for example there is a man's chest. I think I am attracted to it for the fact that its soft, and yet often firm at the same time. Hope that makes sense. I did state the reasons that I like a man's chest. And others have named reasons that they like feet. As i said above, I can well understand that for some it's impossible to say why they like things. For others, it is possible to name some of their reasons.

Besides the point of my post was to try and gain an insight into foot fetishes and I have found the responses very interesting.

If you feel unable to provide this type of answer Jugner then that's no problem hun. I am not trying to force an answer out of you. People have already given answers such as the above, which in your opinion may not explain why, on a psychological level, they liked feet. But then I never asked for that. you got that right, Mitchell. Not only that, but all of the stress from your body(at least, for most people,) goes to approximately three places: neck, shoulders and feet. The neck because it supports all of the weight of your head and shoulders. Shoulders because when one is tense, they tend to scrunch their shoulders and bend their back while doing mundane tasks: typing, cooking, driving, etc. and the feet because all of the weight of your body goes to feet and knees. This is why so many people love massage and tickling in those areas.

or Did you go bare foot so much that your soles became rough and de-sensitized?
Did you have pretty feet when you were young - Did you take care them?
Did you yourself tickle someone's feet as child?
Just curious as you claim to not have been tickle there!
