Extra Car-ricular Activities

So what is it for you? My car's a cafeteria. I work about 45 minutes from home, and it's always late evening by the time I get finished, so I'm usually pretty hungry. Driving around corners with a bacon butty hanging out of my mouth is commonplace here. 😛

I do have a blanket and pillow in my car. It's actually a nice place to take a nap.

It definitely is, except for during the summer, when it can get too damn hot without running the A/C, which makes it pointless.

Honestly? I hate driving. I don't mind it so much on the open road, in a somewhat comfortable vehicle like I currently drive. As far as town driving? We hates it!

So, I went with 'temple' of the picks above. I think it's important to try to discourage distractions as much as possible while in my rolling sanctum sanctorium. :content:

Anyway, all that said, the current ride has served as afew of the others choices above, too. Like FeatherDaemon and kopfhorer, mine can be a comfy motel in the right times of year.

To tell the honest truth, I can't pick. My car is too important in my life, and I see it as far more than just the thing that gets me around.

I've sang and celebrated in her and conducted my business. I've lived out of her enough that I know how comfortable sleeping in that driver's seat is, and just where the perfect place to rest a container of French fries is. She's seen enough action to make me wonder if I should have the suspension looked at, but she also knows the solemn quiet of an endless stretch of highway going off into the night.

My car's far more than just a car, and really has taken a place in the center-stage of my life. Gypsies have a vardo. Samantha has her car.

i love to rock out in my truck. i pump the heavy metal and rock very loudly, roll my windows down and ride. friggin love it.

i couldn't pick one..so i voted the last one..i have a used 1994 Mazda Miata convertible..our or my first sports car..i could say it's used as a boxing match since we fight over who drives it in the summer, spring etc..but it's mine damn it lol...and it's fire engine red...whoohooo...o sorry got carried away..

That's the key! That's how we'll save the Detroit automakers! Build tickling accoutrements into every Ford, Chevy and Chrysler! Maybe dealers could offer tickling implements as enticements? 🙂
