I often wondered why tickling was not portrayed as an agonizing torment in horror movies; apparently, a couple of nude starlets have been "mercilessly tickled" in a horror film shooting at Edgewood, MD locations (captors are a tribe of cannibals). More "agonizing" tickle torment is scheduled for a mid-July shoot; the production is "searching for more crew and extras." The p.r. photographer offered only a couple of images, stressing each girl's anatomic assets are thoroughly "explored" with fingers, ice and feathers ("Why waste it all only on feet when so much of their luscious bodies are exposed?"). The movie is ostensibly based upon a comic book, "Dr. Muncher" ("...so rather than squabble over the rights, we rewrote the doctor's history which is actually drawn from a character who is either real or an urban legend. One alleged victim, nearly tickled to death, has revealed the time and place of her abduction." Ironically, the film is being shot only minutes away from the site of the "real" kidnapping). I wasn't enlightened to the movie until its production was disclosed in a regional "community" newspaper (evidently, the editor was clueless regarding the "nudity" content). A similar, rustic environment was utilzied, in Maryland, for THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT.
