Try this...
Simply copy the text of your link in the "Your Reply" box instead of the using the "Attach file" feature.
I.E.
http://www.Your_Example_Here.com/folder/filename
Under "Options", make sure the box that says "Automatically parse URLs" is checked.
Try it and see if it works.
