I remember listening to that live on the O&A show. It's on XM/Sirius satellite radio.
 
Can anyone provide the background? Like why did she start tickling this guy all of a sudden?
 
Sure - Roland is the employee's name, and somehow they found out he's crazy ticklish. So the initial bit that they did was they had him read like really horrible news, then tickle him so that he'd be laughing throughout the bad news.

This was one of the follow-on bits.
