After the fiasco with the hack, Ross was so upset and riled up that he noticed he was beginning to feel sick.
Sneezing, coughing, and such.
It did not seem to be a sinus infection or bronchitis, so when Ross called his boutique Dr, a nurse practitioner came over to Ross and Kayley's apartment, determined that Ross did not need an antibiotic, and just told Ross to rest, stay in bed,. and stay home.
Ross, of course, moved into the Den to stay away from Kayley.
In the meantime, Ross gave the order from home for Vic and Jack to oversee sweeping the viruses and bugs out of the office computer system.
Since the system had been custom built, and due to RossShell;'s sheer size and amount of accounts, it was not that easy for the computer specialist to just change everything.
So, after discussion with Jack and Vic, and approval by Ross, the specialist installed a temporary computer system for the office, and made sure it was clean of viruses, bugs, and backs, while dismantling the one that had been been hacked.
Thus, business at RossShell could continue for Jack, Vic, the workers, and the clients.
Ross, in the meantime, seemed to keep fighting off the cold, and then having it come back.
Eventually, with Steve and Fritz not able to wait any longer for an investor show, Ross just tuned in from his home office, while making sure that the cameras were not focused on him while he was in his bed clothes of sweatpants and a sweatshirt.
This was just one time that Ross, a man with no patience, would have to be patient.
Ross figured that realistically, he would be able to return to the office within a week, and maybe go to OKC within 2 to 3 weeks.
In the meantime, out of nowhere, Tazzio, who had been quiet for a long time, now was having an increase in rhetoric.
The logical thought was that Tazzio, or someone who was hired by Tazzio, had caused the hack.
Yet, a man such as Ross, and a business as massive and valuable as RossShell, had so many business adversaries, Alan Hell and Tom from Philadelphia, explained to Ross, Vic and Jack that neither RossShell's executives who were in control of the company, nor tha company's attorneys themselves, could focus on one likely single source.
Ross was frustrated to the core.
Not only had RossShell's systems been hacked, and not only were they operating on a temporary system that might not be as secure as a regular company system, but, Ross himself was fallen with a bad cold, which could have been brought on by anything from aggravation, to lack of sleep, to just plain bad luck.
Undoubtedly, this situation of the hack, why it happened, and how to resolve it, was only beginning.
What would the continuation be?
That would be seen.
