Fantasy Football Bias?

Ive noticed with my fantasy football teams that being a Steelers fan i am AFC North biased. I mean in the early rounds you get the best people but say after round 8 i tend to go to steelers,ravens,browns, or bengals players rather then other divisons players. Probally because im used to their players and know what to expect from them seeing as i watch every Steelers game

Do you notice the same bias in yourself when drafting your fantasy football teams? For example if your a Cowboys fan do you notice that in the later rounds you tend to gravitate towards eagles,giants,cowboys and redskins players?

Absolutely!!!

especially in the latter part of the draft where you mine for ''diamonds in the rough''.

For example. I have been picking up austin miles in the last part of the draft. He is a totally unknown Cowboys WR who alot of nationwide fans have never heard of. But he may end up starting in TO`S old position and have a very nice year.

Never. I try to stay away from picking within my division. Because it means I have to root for them. I can't do that. Not when I am rooting for them to blow out their knee. It would really suck if I was rooting for them to blow out their knee and they were actually on my Fantasy Team.

People draft from a team they like cuz they follow them more closely than others and notice more

I try to pick as many Cowboys as possible and stay away from picking the rest of the NFC East.

Only if I have no choice would I pick a Colt, a Titan, or a damn Texan

Manning, White, and Johnson I would hate to have to pick. They are all....ugh great. But If I had a chance to pick Jones-Drew? Oh yeah definitely.

yeah i sometimes pic players from my own team that i like lol, i'm in two fantasy baseball leagues right now and I have a bunch of Oakland Athletics on both teams lol.. and I'll probably do Fantasy Football, and even though I won't have alot, I'll atleast try to have some 49ers.. It's nice to have some players from your favorite teams.. and like u said players you're used to so you know what to expect from them becuase you do see players from your division more than other teams..

yeah i got that problem too lol.. typically i pick from my favorite team, but not other teams in my division..

Not really, but being a Bears fan I really haven't had that problem the past few seasons, lol.

Definitely does not apply to me. I'm a 49ers fan so pretty much after Frank Gore is gone I haven't been looking to them too much. Regardless of the fact that they've stunk recently, I'm much more preoccupied with looking for the best upside or undervalued players to be paying too much attention to whether or not they play for a team I like.
