Fasting and being Tickled

Next Friday will see Muslims round the world fast including me. This will last for a whole month.

I just wanted to know whether you think it would be a good idea for me fasting to be tickled tortured. Will it drain energy out of me?

What if I was gagged so couldn't speak and tied so I couldn't move.

Would it be ok?

It is OK with me.

Being gagged, at least you won't be able to vomit on the ler.
 
It's fasting sunrise to sunset, correct?

You should be fine as long as once you eat your meal after sunset you wait 2 or 3 hours for the food energy to start getting into your system.

Maybe if you eat before sun up ad have a session before noon.

You may be ok at any point if you eat before sunrise. You'll probably feel more wiped out than normal, but you won't die. It's not that long.12 or 14 hours this time of year?

Of course, if you're going days totally without food, no.

But if you're worried eat after dark, and have your sessions later in the night. Should be fine.

I am not sure what you are worried about! Would you mind explaining your worries further?
 
It might make you light-headed pretty quickly. I would wait until after sundown.
 
I would just be careful...try to not to session to much far from the time when you can eat food.
 
From my experiences doing a heavy workout after 10 hours of fasting results in cramps and lightheadedness.

Better to wait till 2 - 3 hours after dinner or shortly after sunrise.
 
How about you do a scientific research with a living object (=you) and tell us how it went? 🙂

I think you have some good advice already on this forum. As one who has fasted as a religious discipline I'm inclined to agree with the people who have commented on the wisdom of doing what amounts to strenous cardio activity when your blood sugar is low.

But If I were you, I'd listen to my own experience. i'm sure you have lived through enough Ramadans to know how your body reacts. And if you're worried, you can always go with a safe word - and put yourself in a tickling situation where you are able to say it.

From one 'lee to another, a common wisdom applies... Know your limits. And then go have fun! 🙂 🙂
