One of the first greats for us rockers.....and, apparently, John Lennon had said that if it weren't for Fats, there would have been no Beatles. Thanks Fats for the inspiration to many, and RIP sir.

Yes, both John Lennon and Elvis Presley have credited Fats Domino with being the original King of Rock 'n' Roll.

I'd never heard of him until an episode of Stars in Your Eyes I watched as a kid and someone performed as him. (Blueberry Hill).
I love his easy playing, so much energy in it even though it seems relatively sedate. The sort of music that will always bring a smile to the face and could be listened too all day without getting tired of it.
