My vote goes to Jodie Foster's "Home for the Holidays"~hilarious!

XOXO

Black Christmas nothing better then a serial killer stalking people on Christmas eve :evilha:

and my 2nd vote is National Lampoons Christmas Vaction

Santa Claus Conquers The Martians An older Scifi classic Got it at K-Mart today for $1.99😛 on DVD

My two favorite Christmas movies of all time? The Ref and Lethal Weapon.

I would say the claymation movie A Year Without Santa....The muppet Chritmas....and Die Hard

My favorite would have to be "Trading Places". It may not be considered a Christmas movie, but it does take place during that time. One of Eddie Murphy's all time classics that I can watch over and over.

I always hold a special spot in my heart for the classic Rudolph movie they show every year around Christmas time. I've loved it since I was a small child, and I still watch it every Christmas now that I am an adult.

"National Lampoons Christmas Vacation" and "Scrooged" with Bill Murray are two other great ones in terms of entertainment value.

I would go with "It's a Wonderful Life"watch it every year very enjoyable and entertaing. Not alot of special effects just a fun movie.:wavingguy :wavingguy

I agree with Mimi about "Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer". I saw that as a child the very first year it was shown and have watched it every year since. I nearly perfected my impression of that character that says, "No child wants a CHARLIE in the box!"

Next, "A Christmas Story", about the kid who wants the BB gun for Christmas. "You'll shoot your EYE out, kid!"

SSCCCRRRRROOOOOOOOGGGGEEEE!!!!! :wow: (Jacob Marley's ghostly voice)in the original 1951 movie with Alistair Sims as Ebenezer Scrooge!

Favorite Christmas movie has gotta be A CHRISTMAS STORY, here!

Favorite Christmas-themed horror would have to be SILENT NIGHT, EVIL NIGHT, which is one of my top twenty favorite horror-movies, period!

Of course, someone just sent me a VHS of the following, which sounds like goofy fun!

ELVES (1997) - Incredibly silly holiday horror about evil elves trying to inpregnate some chick and Nazi experiments going bad. Totally insane American trash starring Dan Haggerty has been overlooked for far too long!

EXCELLENT choice! Hysterical movie. Also National Lampoon's Christmas Vaction... Chevy Chase's tirade about his boss for like three minutes slays me every time! And a new movie, destined to be a classic like Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer that's at IMAX theaters now, "Santa vs. the Snowman". This thing is pure genius. It's made by the same folks who do JIMMY NEUTRON: BOY GENIUS. The animation is superb, and the humor will kill you. A lot of is is aimed at adults, even though it seems like a kids movie. This snowman stumbles across Santa's workshop, and accidentally sets off the burglar alarm. Feeling resentful, he enlists an army to help him overthrow Santa and claim the workshop as his own. All out mayhem and comedic war ensue. This one's worth looking for.

Miracle on 34th Street - the original with Natalie Wood & It's a Wonderful Life are at the top of my list followed by How the Grinch Stole Christmas & Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas.

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Several classic holiday scenes in that movie. Watching Chevy Chase storm around the front yard pissed about the christmas lights brings me to tears every time.

Gotta go along with everyone else:
"National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" The scenes with Chevy in the lingurie dept. and Randy Quaid peeing in the sewer crack me up every year without fail.

Also: The Christmas episode of "The Twilight Zone", where Art Carney finds the Santa Claus bag. An absolute classic!

I must concur that "it's a wonderful life" is my favorite holiday movie. Everytime I watch it I fall in love with Donna Reed all over again. This year I am giong to see it in a movie theater on the big screen. It is always nice to see the classic movies in the way they were orginally released. I am really looking forward to it.
