Fave Wine? Or drink...

I'm the first to stand up and say "I drink bl***y anything!" (no... hang on, that was Blaster!) Anyway, Given my rather... odd style at work of asking customers if they'd like any help drinking their wine or beer, I began to wonder what drinks we here like to drink.

Wine is my fave, and out of them, red, and out of them, Shiraz or a "you name it" Shiraz.

well the hollywood brother always goes back to good old fashioned all american beer like bud or coors but the hollywood brother also likes whiskey which is something the hollywood brother has in common with the great john Wayne.

Well, I only drink if I'm alone or with somebody...but when I do, I generally stick to that cold beer. I drink a Texas brew called Shiner, usually their bock, occasionally their lager (called Shiner Blonde).
I am still pretty much a hick about wines, but I do like chianti and white zinfandel. Again, I lean toward home-grown products. Texas is making some respectable wines like St. Genevieve and Llano Estacado. I had some shiraz for the first time the other night at the theater--don't remember what brand--and I definitely want some mo' of dat.
Don't hit the hard stuff like I used to in my younger days, but I love a good rum and coke...usually drink Bacardi amber, sometimes that spiced up Capt. Morgan stuff. Maker's Mark was my bourbon when I drank it, but I indulge only rarely now.
I like gin and tonic, too, but when I drink it I get ten feet tall and bulletproof. Too old for that kind of foolishments any more.

I have a fav cocktail called a Vanilla Madras. It's vanilla flavoured vodka, then half cranberry juice, half orange juice. Fav "shot" is either Goldschlager, or one that is called a "Starry Night", which is half Goldschlager and half Jagermeifter ... you can imagine why it is called that ... and too many of them = 'nighty-nite' ..!!

I lean toward the clear liquors like vodka and gin ... but NO Tequilla ... !! The brown liquors make me feel like crap the next day.

Like Ignatz01, I used to love Shiner Bock, but then the company that owned Corona bought them out and changed the formula and I couldn't stand it after that. I used to drink nothing but beer until a couple of years ago, but now it's just a rare Bud Light draught on occasion, unless there is Harp on tap ... I really like Harp, but not out of the bottle.

Yup ... !! Notise that thick, almost breadlike taste is gone? ... and the colour is lighter as well ..! Shiner used to be thick and dark ... what I call a 'heavy' beer ... but that changed after Corona bought them out.

...btw ... I think Corona taste like bilge water ... or worse ... !!! 😀

a nice, fruity champaigne...a pina colada...frozen maragarita...

If it's beer it has to be something that doesnt taske like pee. Maybe a Guiness. Or I mix it with Snapple. ^^

Of course a splash of Bailey's or kalhua is always good when mixed with stuff...

A good brew like Bass ale, Guiness stout, Yuengling, Sam Adams, Warsteiner and Great Lakes Dortmunder.

Take one pint glass, add 6 shots of malibu, fill to the top with Pineapple juice, stick a frikkin umbrella in there if you want, and drown away those sorrows!

By the way i drink mainly all, in various quantities ^^ ... my preference goes to vodka ( Zubrowka and other polish ones ) and scottish whisky that is Bowmore and Glenmorangie. reminds me to buy some 🙂

Personally, I don't drink too often, and then only in social situations. I usually stick with basic ol' beer, such as Coors Light or Michelob, but I really, really like Fat Tire Amber Ale. Of course, if I have too much beer, then I'm likely to drink any form of alcohol......
