What's everyone's favorite animated series? :bouncybou :couch: 😀 :woot: :wavingguy

Family Guy :bouncybou

Peter: Sometimes it's appropriate to swear
(Peter is in court)
Bailiff: Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth so help you god?
Peter: I do........You bastard

favorite animated series

There are no new ones scheduled for a while but I would have to say my favorites are:

Venture Brothers and Robot Chicken!

Go Team Venture!

I'll give you a hint. I'm a loyal alumnus of Wossamotta U.

Family Guy
Aqua Teen Hunger Force
South park (at times)
Drawn Together

Just to name a few

Has to be a 3 part answer for me.

#1 Family Guy :evilha:

#2 South Park

#3 The Simpsons (though not so much the recent seasons)

......Course, if we're talking "Old School", I'd have to mention Silverhawks and Thundercats......

.....And if we're really going back, I always enjoyed The Smurfs LMAO

(Noticed somebody mentioned Robot Chicken, I have to admit that's a hilarious short from what I've managed to see)

Teen Titans

Old Animated Batman Series

Superman

Ren and Stimpy

...as far as "Anime" goes...too many to list

hands down south park omg they killed kenny, you bastards

isabeau :happyfloa

Aqua Teen Hunger Force....hands down.

"Repeat after me: We are....Sofa King....We Todd Ed. Now say it again, faster! FASTER! Haha, Billywitchdoctor.com made you say funny thing!"

Mimi 😀

Favorite: Spider-Man Animated series from 2003. Ran for one season.

Least favorite: South Park. Tries too hard to be funny, and fails miserably.

Pinky and the Brain

A cult classic. Fast fact: The Brain was a dead ringer for Orson Wells, and one of their episodes was based on a recording of Wells ranting at a recording engineer.

Theme to STEVEN SPIELBERG PRESENTS PINKY AND THE BRAIN (Episode P1)
Music by Richard Stone. Lyrics by Tom Ruegger.

They're Pinky and The Brain
Yes, Pinky and The Brain
One is a genius
The other's insane.
They're laboratory mice
Their genes have been spliced
They're dinky
They're Pinky and The Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain
Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain
Brain.

Before each night is done
Their plan will be unfurled
By the dawning of the sun
They'll take over the world.

They're Pinky and The Brain
Yes, Pinky and The Brain
Their twilight campaign
Is easy to explain.
To prove their mousey worth
They'll overthrow the Earth
They're dinky
They're Pinky and The Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain
Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain
Narf!

i'm surprised nobody has meantioned "Gargoyles" yet. That show ruled.

uh i hate to disagree drew but south park is about the onlyfunny thing on tv these days. i never watch tv but i do watch south park. and back when beavis and butthead were on, it was a very funny animated series also. but each to their own opinion. it is what makes the world spin.

New stuff
Simpsons
Family Guy
Teen Titans
JLA
Old stuff
Rocky and Bullwinkle
Spiderman-the series that aired originally starting in 1967
The Filmanimation DC comics superheroes-aired in late 60's
Looney Toons
Woody Woodpecker
Danger Mouse
Power Puff Girls
Dexters Lab

of late, definately the family guy and the simpsons.

but way back in TV land days, Looney Tunes ruled.

>.> Dragon Ball Z? <.<'
Family Guy
-Wuffles Teh Ninja Turtles-
And Naruto is pretty good. >.> -Is also childish-

Being of the younger generation (aged 30 and under), you'd think I'd list one of the "newer" animated series as my favorite. While I do enjoy watching The Simpsons, King of the Hill, Beavis and Butthead (when it was still shown on MTV), and other cartoons like them, I still prefer the classics, like Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry, Woody Woodpecker, Popeye, and so on. They may not be as sophisticated as their more modern counterparts but they can still entertain after all these years. And now I'll stop my long-winded analysis. 😀

No doubt about it... I gotta get a new hat! :woot:

I'm surprised no one has mentioned FUTURAMA. It's created by Matt Groenig (sp?) - the same guy who created the Simpsons. IMO pretty funny stuff. :jester:
