I'm no great fan of Hulk Hogan, but I do have to say that his match against The Rock at WrestleMania X8 had some incredible crowd energy behind it. If it is to be remembered for one thing only, it's that it was amazing to see how the roles reversed in that match instantaneously. Rock was supposed to be the babyface with Hogan as the heel, but you wouldn't know it at all from that crowd. It was really a sight to behold.

Cactus Jack vs. Sabu. It was my first live ECW event at the Hamburg Field House. I was standing 5 feet away when Sabu landed chest first across the steel guardrail and heard his ribs break.

Also, NuJack and LSD vs The Dudleys at Living Dangerously. Again, standing about 5 feet away as NuJack and Spike leaped off the balcony to put Bubba and Devon thru the tables.

Only recently had I starting watching wrestling again but one newer match I liked was The Undertaker vs. Big Show in the cage.

This is of course impossible. I mean, we're talking decades and several countries on several continents.

Anyway, I'm going to promote a fairly recent (2005) match: Joe vs. Kobashi in New York. Sure, the match may be somewhat overhyped, but we're still talking legendary stuff. Two guys who hardly know the meaning of kayfabe, an incredible crowd who almost comes in their pants when Kenta walks in, plus ROH had the good sense to leave out commentary on the DVD-release of that event, instead letting the match speak for itself.

It's stiff as hell, and borders on dangerous, but then again so does most of Kentas work.
5 stars for sure.
