Favorite Movie Scenes...

Forgive me if this has already been done. I was watching some different movie scenes on Youtube today, and decided to start a thread about forum members favorite movie scenes. I recall a thread from some years ago about "Funniest Movie Scenes", but not "Favorite". The scenes described in this thread can be from any type of movie, from Comedy, to Drama, Horror, etc.

Here are my.. top five..even though I probably have others.

1. Meg Ryan Fake Orgasm Scene in When Harry Met Sally.

2. Ben Stiller Zipping Up His "Private Parts" in Theres Something About Mary.

3. Jim Carrey Elevator Fart Scene In Liar Liar where he announced that he farted.

4. Rebecca Hall activating silent alarm with her toes during bank robbery scene in The Town.

5. Last Scene of 1969 movie Bob And Carol And Ted And Alice, where Robert Culp, Natalie Wood, Elliott Gould, and Dyan Cannon walk from hotel room, to elevator, and then to parking lot with many people, and movie ends with Culp and Wood giving each other the non verbal stare down.

Those are five of my favs. Any others?

In no particular order, the scenes that stand out for me are:

1. The lesbian gothic blood bath scene from Hostel 2 with the one girl dangling naked from the ceiling and the goth girl laying in a makeshift pool beneath her and using a scythe with an extended handle to shred her skin and rain blood down upon herself

2. The infamous "Chicken Scene" from Pink Flamingo when the guy is trying to have sex with the girl who's spying on his family with his sister watching from the window. He shoves two live chickens at the girl while they are having sex screaming "HOLD THESE DAMN CHICKENS!!" and she's screaming the whole time. That's just odd and funny to me.

3. The hotel room scene from Boondock Saints when they drop down through the ceiling and assassinate all the mobsters in the room as they are spinning and dangling from the ceiling. Just beautifully done.

4. "Topless skin-diving", "Zombie vs Shark", and the "Eye splinter" scenes from Lucio Fulchi's Zombie. All 3 epic and infamous in the zombie world. "Topless skin diving" leads into "Zombie v Shark". A woman, topless obviously, wearing nothing but a bikini bottom and a scuba tank dives down into the ocean, explores around a bit, runs into a zombie and gets away. But, being a zombie, he's still hungry, and next best thing? A shark passing by. Just wonderful. From the same movie later on, a woman's head is pulled through a door by a zombie arm and her eye becomes impaled on a splinter of wood. For it's time, I think this movie was just awe-inspiringly epic.

5. The scene from Planet Terror when Quentin Tarantino's character's zombie penis melts off lol Always stands out to me as one of the most painfully gross ideas ever lol. Also the scene where Cherry Darling (Rose McGowan) uses her Gatling-gun-type leg to shoot through a bunch of zombies.

There's one type of scene I always loved in TV and movies. When a car is approaching some kind of checkpoint with a gate or light barrier of some kind, and instead of stopping they just crash right through without even slowing down.

One particular example is in the movie Stripes at the border of Germany and Czechoslovakia. When they crash through it startles the guards so much that one spills his coffee on the other.

"Hey, it's Czechoslovakia. We zip in. We zip out. It's not like we're going to Moscow, it's Czechoslovakia! It's like driving into Wisconsin."

"Hey, I got my ass kicked in Wisconsin!"
