Favorite music band.

My absolute favorite, although there are many great artists out there who I partake of, has got to be Nightwish. Man, what a kick ass metal band that actually uses deeper themes than just the normal metal community.

Their most recent album, although with a new female vocalist, who is good in my opinion, is just another fine example of what these guys are capable of. I think it is easy to argue that they are one of, if not the best symphonic metal band that has ever produced music.

the hollywood brother has heard of nightwish but after recetnly getting the rare honor to see ozzy perform, the hollywood brother got to go with ozzy for the best in heavy metal. Now if you want to go glam rock or hair bands, then bon jovi and posion are right up there with twisted sister and quiet riot!

oh hell ya Nightwish rocks. i love "Wish I had an Angel" and "End of All Hope"

also love Dreamevil's "Into the Moonlight"

but after rocking out to "Heart of a Dragon" and Valley of The Damned" i currently like Dragonforce best.

also like Rammstein. "Hier Kommt Die Sonne" (Here comes the Sun) and "Keine Lust"

This is my kind of thread,

I dont like picking favorites as I love all the music I have in general, spanning many genres (including classical, blues, new age), but here are a few examples:

Metallica, Nightwish, Trans Siberian Orchestra, Children of Bodom, Iron Maiden, AMon Amarth, Rammstein, Godsmack, Motley Crue, pretty much anything that rocks.

I Have to Agree with Nightwish

but for the most part i listen to tons of jpop and jrock bands like m.o.v.e....abingdon boys school....back on and tm revolution

God damn there are a lot of metalheads here! My cousins from Bergen, Norway got me into Scandanavian metal about a year ago and now I'm hooked. My favs are Stratovarius, Blind Guardian and Sonata Arctica....and of course OLD Metallica will always hold a special place in my heart...(somewhere theres a picture of me in the third grade wearing an itty-bitty "Ride the Lightning" t-shirt...LOL)
