Surely, Miss Mairead (Giggle),
All of us "Geriatrics" do want to thank you for providing us a focus point for our most devoted and intense attentions as soon as NEST'07 kicks off! (read as this mght be a way of constructing your poor self into some deep stuff come June... !!! Wicked Evil Grins Shared Among All Us Geriatrics.)
Good memories of NEST's past (hmmm) a few.
Meeting: Max, Jan, Jeff, Bella, and everyione else at our first nest in the late 90's. Discovering that there was/is a solid (secret) core of sports car racing fanatics lurking among the NESTees.
Atttending one of the last of the first NEST's at Max' old apartment, when it really began to overflow. (thus finding the funkiest restaurant in Penns' Landing, which M and I return to every year).
Getting my Miss M to be a late nite presenter, when she admitted that Houston John knew what he was doing with his foot tickling technique more than anyone else.
More recently:
Watching TrixieBrat being introduced to the joys of foot tickling in our old set of stocks a few years ago.
Meeting, talkng with, and getting to tickle Sandee at her first NEST in '04.
Spotting and immediately (and mutually recognizing) Jeff after -many- years at last years '06 NEST from ---way--- across the room(!),
In the party room in '04 having Judy (JPie) ask me, "So, What do you think of my feet?"
Me, "They're Perfect!"
June '06 - Confiding at breakfast with (Jon's) Kittentoes that I thought and hoped England had a decent chance of of making a solid showing in the 2006 Soccer-Football World Cup, only to see UK tossed almost as summarily as our USA-Yanks!
Working with our old friend from DC Chris M (Ticklebully) tickle my poor missus Melinda in the "chair" last year.
Spending almost 15 minutes with same Chris trying to do some good rope bondage on Bella to get her in a position to to some serious work, only to have the delightful Miss B pull right out in one second! (we all did get a sort of disastrous laff out of all of that anyway)
Watching almost the most cutest couple in NEST (ever), Mark-Viper and Meg-Irish do a really great scene before ours. And they regard themselves as the newer folks. Well, in our estimation, whatever they have been doing, watching, or reading about, or even practicing in the privacy of their own, they got it down. And we 'seniors' wamt them to keep coming and being the natural next generation or "our kind".
And we admire all of that, and that the music is continuing.
