There is a dominance/submissiveness vibe in good M/M tickling scenes. Reactions are king: the harder the laughing, the better. Tickle TORTURE, not just tickling.
I can speak only for myself, though, and perhaps the two hundred or so customers of my Clips4Sale store. I get the impression that many M/M aficionados care more about the looks of the model than the reactions, i.e., style over substance.

Agreed on the D/s aspect. Personally I appreciate a sort of realness to m/m vids - normal looking guys in realistic scenarios. I know there are a lot of people who like chiseled muscle models and some like superhero scenes but what gets me going are boss/employee or professor/pupil style scenes.
