While Favre could still change his mind, as he did during the 2008 and 2009 offseasons, there is no indication the granddaddy gunslinger will return this time.

The 41-year-old quarterback stated 2010 was his final season after rejoining the Minnesota Vikings in August and reiterated that intent throughout an injury-plagued campaign.

Favre's NFL-record string of 297 consecutive regular season starts ended last month when he was forced to miss a mid-December game against the New York Giants because of a shoulder injury. Favre returned the following week against Chicago but suffered a concussion that sidelined him for Minnesota's final two contests.

Farve is like a bad rash it goes away but some how always comes back lol. I hope this time he stays away cause at this point he's only going to tarish his career.

Fuck Favre. Aaron Rodgers will be a better QB in Green Bay and at least match his championship total.

That's it for one of the greatest QB's of all-time!

More like, there goes one of the most selfish and overrated quarterbacks of all time. One Super Bowl doesn't compensate for the countless seasons that came to an end with Favre tossing a pick in the closing minutes with the game in his hands. You could argue that Manning is just as big a choke artist, but Manning hasn't closed off nearly as many playoffs with a game losing pick (aside from the Super Bowl last year).

Granted Favre has fucked up alot of play off games and big game moments, but its disrespectful to call the man a douch bag, or a selffish overrated QB...for fuck sake the man gave his blood and soul for the fucking game...he Loved it...hence why he never left until his body was so torn apart that he couldnt play anymore....piss and moan all you want, but the man was fun to watch, even if he did fuck alot of games up. Any true fan of his will miss seeing him on the field.

It will be weird not seeing him on the field. However, it isn't disrespectful to call him overrated. He was a great season long quarterback, but he is not the guy I would want in there in the playoffs with the game on the line. He's not, nor was he ever, a smart decision making quarterback.
