A fun little tickle poem I concocted for a game I fell into the last couple of years. Short, but a lot of fun to write. Enjoy!

Feather

Dance and twirl,
Dance and twirl,
My lady of the air,

Whose lithe landings do grace my hand,
Fallen to the earth like careless stars,
Amidst thy glorious murmurations,

How I long to praise you!
Like a disciple to the sun,
Like the redemption of the betrayed,

Yet our allegiances remain,
Choking secrets and honorous deeds,
Grave and Garrison alike,

And so thus I author my love,
Taking flight with cartographer's passion,
Upon the mirthless masses I find,

Tracing our laughing lines,
Like the winding streets of home,
To sing my love for you,

Every pleading word,
Every giggling praise,
Every begging cry,

Do I send to you,
Upon each Ravnican wind,
From dusk until dawn,

My angel, my blessing,
How I gaze the skies for you,
Longing for the day we may meet,

Until then my worship goes on,
Until your flight finds home,
Until when I may finally praise you.
