Feathers

Serious Question...does anyne have any idea of where I may procure feathers for tickling? I am not interested in those big billowy ones that have no effect at all. The are too soft, n my opinion. I am looking for sharp stiff feathers. Please, if you have any info on where I may find feathers like these, I would super appreciate it.

Well, I don't know where you live, but if you're anywhere near the woods....turkey and eagle feathers can be found in abundance. Those are the best in my opinion although some manufacturers will charge you for the same thing.😎

You can buy goose feathers at craft stores. They often come in bright colors or in white or white with black tips. Those work quite well too. Just get the stiffer type.

Go to your local Wal-Mart or K-Mart and buy a Dust Caeser feather duster. They make two types, one with real soft feathers and one with stiffer feathers.

You can then use it as a feather duster, i.e., employing ALL feathers at once, or pull them OUT of the duster and use them one at a time.

If you want to save some money....try a Dollar Tree (or other dollar store) for feather dusters. They also have massage wheels and other goodies that make good tickling implements. We got several of the goodies in our tickle tackle box from Dollar Tree. AC Moore and WalMart both have a good variety of feathers as well.

I've also gotten favorable responses from local turkey farms. You just have to ask and they'll give you a whole bag of feathers at no cost.

Also, if you like feathers, you may want to try those camel hair artist brushes. They work great too! 😉
