Feet Phobic

The last two women that I had met, in a small span of time, not knowing each other, absolutely HATED having their feet touched. It was not even a tickle thing. They said that it completely grossed them out when people touched their feet. I asked, "What about relaxing foot rubs?" and they were very indifferent to them. One of them even said that she hated looking at people's feet, even in socks.

This shocked me, especially since I met 2 that felt this way within the past few months.

Understand that I am definitely NOT the kind of guy that stands back and accepts this just because she says so. I had to prove those claims. They were both marginally ticklish on their feet, so it wasn't a fear factor from being too ticklish. It just grossed them out.

Anyone else had this odd experience?

Quite familiar, Max. Several years ago, I had a female friend (not really a girlfriend in the usual sense) who suffered from the same phobia. I have no idea where this could come from, but it's there. A bit frustrating for tickle fans, but she compensated that by being VERY ticklish on her waist and ribs, and by actually encouraging me to tickle her there!

YEP!!!!!!!! My ex-wife's sister just flat out absolutely hated her feet to be touched in any shape or form. She loved going barefooted and wasn't really ticklish at all. But, oneday she was laying out getting a tan at our house before a cookout, I was walking by and sorta leaned down and touched her foot to tickle them playfully and she practically jumped straight up from her horizontal tanning position onto her feet and reached down grabbed the lawn chair and threw it at me.

This ALL happened in a matter of a few seconds. She didn't even appear to have a clue that she reacted this way until it was all over. She then ran over to me and ask if I was alright and seemed extremely sorry for thrashing out that way. I really believe it was an involuntary reaction that she hated having her feet touched!!!!

I'll tell you one thing, this ole boy NEVER touched them tootsies again I can assure you.

Sooooo don't sweat it, there are people out there like this.

Yes Maxx...I have known females like that before. One even said it hurt to have her feet touched!!! Go figure that one. The gross thing though, I can kinda understand...epecially if you look at it from a females point of view. I live in Ca., and people go barefoot or in sandals all the time and let me tell you that about 80% of those feet that I see kinda turn my stomach to. I cannot for the life of me figure out why someone would go barefoot on purpose in public when they clearly don't take any measures in the health care of their feet...yellow toenails, heels that look like cracked clay...yuk!!!! It can be a devistating thought if ya let it get to ya!

I was at a friend's house for a party about 24 years ago, it was raining out and some of the guests arrived late.......actually, this was just a big ol' sloppy keg party! Anyway, one of the gals, who took off her sneakers cause they were wet, refused to come upstairs to the party area......cause she was barefoot! And she kept telling anyone who came downstairs:"Don't look at my feet!" cause she was supposedly so embarrassed.

Little Conversion Story

I've known many, many people like this, especially girls. I still have no idea what they find so 'gross', but fortunately some can have their perspective changed.

I will never understand a foot fetish.

I think the only purposes of feet are locomotion and transportation. Have I tickled them before? Sure-whatever makes the lee happy! But I'm not a foot fan by any means and absolutely hate my own feet. Ugh!

Its quite a prevalent thing. Feet are not the prettiest things in the world. Even a foot-liker such as me can be 'grossed out' at the thought of liking feet. Most peoples feet are not very pretty either.
However, it is a misconception amongst foot lovers that women are 'showing off' their feet by wearing sandals, toe rings etc. It is more often the case that they like the breeze and comfort of sandals and decorate their feet like they would decorate their hands/ears etc.
Think of it like this. How many of you who wear earings actually wear them to draw attention to your ears or to show off your ears?! None of you do. You do it to make yourselves look generally more pretty and smart.

I'd say close to 30% of the girls/women i've known hated having their feet touched and not all of these were ticklish!

I remember my biology teacher (a few years ago) talking about how she wouldn't go for a pedicure because she hated the idea of having her feet touched. She was only in her mid twenties. This started a discussion with a mature student (early twenties) who agreed that getting feet touched by a stranger is weird and feels weird.

My biology teacher would often talk about her feet. Again, a misconception amongst foot lovers would be that she has a foot fetish as shes always talking about them. Well, in others ways it was abundantly clear that she didn't have a foot fetish.

First, Yes some feet can be quite gross and unappealing, however a pair of well pampered feet and pedicured toes can be quite Beautiful just as they are.

Second, I believe that woman who wear sandals, toe rings, and other ankle jewelery do so to show off that portion of their bodies that may not get the attention that they are probably seeking. A woman wants to be beautiful ALL over. Now a portion of your case does have it's merits however the way you state it, it's like your're saying feet are all together unappealing and I really believe the members here are going to speak out against the point you made. Including in this opposition will be the females who do show off their feet and they'll answer the questions as to why they display their feet and wear the jewelery they do.

Who knows we both could be 100% right or we both could be 100% wrong.

But I believe the foot fetished individuals are going to make a strong case in point against your post!!!

Well, I am a foot-fetishist. I get very aroused when a see a nice pair of feet. Even a not so nice pair of feet belonging to a nice-looking girl can get me excited. I love feet and like feet and enjoy feet.

But I recognise that feet are not very attractive. They can be very attractive, but many aren't.

Also, whilst some women will wear sandals, toe-tings, nail polish to purposefully draw attention to their feet, most do these things for other reasons.
They make their feet look pretty to make themselves look pretty. How many of you girls even give the earrings in your ears a second thought? If some ear-fetish person was staring at your ears would you even know about it? I think the same applies to feet.

Agreed. The arse is not sexy. I went to a lap-dancing club last year and got a dance with this girl. She would occasionally wiggle her bottom in my face and I didn't like it at all. I can't understand why people like the arse - especially black me it would seem.
