Hello All,
Some of you may be familiar with me from TMF where I'm known as The Director.
Sorry to ignore this forum. I've recenlty completed a mainstream horror movie in Pittsburgh called FETISH DOLLS DIE LAUGHING about a killer known as The Tickle Monster. Lots of tickling and footplay in the film which will hopefully be released on DVD in the spring.
The company that produced the film (which I wrote and also play the Tickle Monster) has a website www.valleyofcorpses.com where if you click on the link for FETISH DOLLS DIE LAUGHING you'll get a little more information about the film. Let me know if you have trouble accessing it.

Max--there isn't really a "scene" here that I'm aware of...if I'm wrong, someone please tell me...there IS a fetish party that happens once a month, but no ticklephiles have made their presence known...I know a couple of guys in the area who are from the site...but that's about it. If there are more, we should all hang out at a fetish party some night...it would be awesome! And congrats on your movie!!!! That's amazing!!!!

Wait a sec, if it's a mainstream movie, as opposed to a fetish video, having minor actors is of no concern.
They have minors and kids in just every horror flick out there.

Unless the movie is being labelled "adult", it should be no problem.

But we can't brand a movie "adult", just because it has tickling in it, or gods forbid, pedophiliac, just because it is a scary movie with younger actors.

A film soley based upon people being tickled to death is not artistic nor is it mainstream. Take it from a film major, if it is too good to be true it is.
 
Hey, let me resort to a common idiomatic phrase: "You're barking at the wrong tree, man".

The original poster stated it was a mainstream movie.
If it is - if it makes it to the mainstream - it would be judged and labelled as such.

I wouldn't brand it as kid porn, but you're free to report the original user to full-mods, and see what they think about it.
 
i barked at no one. It is fair criticism for the film though. I reiterate it is not mainstream because someone says it's mainstream. There's a reason that parents sleep safe at night. As much as I hate to admit it the FCC and Hollywood system does serve a point.

If you think we're having a potential case of kid porn, or kid actors in a fetish porn, please report this thread to mods as soon as possible.

I have no particular insight about this movie.

Interestingly, there is a debate as to whether 18 USC 2257 will be applied to explicit scenes in mainstream movies as well as so-called adult content. See here, for instance.

If it's very graphic, it would probably be released as "unrated" or NC-17. If the scenes are too explicit, some state laws will require that all viewers be 18 or over, even if the film is not billed as "adult" or "X-rated."
 
All publicity is good publicity I guess.
