Fidel Castro.. the Saga continues

Iam not Latino, but politics is my area, so here is my spin.
While I do strongly disagree with Castro's regime of a monarchy, one that has caused both Cuba and US tourists to suffer, as it has deprived US citizens of a place to vacation that is only 90 miles from Miami, this article is yet another example of Bush trying to control the world according to his agenda. While Castro is a dictator whose politics Americans cannot relate to, we have not had any major problems with him in years. Bush's new policy is just another example of how this man wants to rule not only the US but other countries as well. I do believe that the Cuban people need a country of democracy with greater freedoms for things to improve, but it is not Bush's job to control every country on the face of this earth. Perhaps, when Castro passes, Cuba can take steps toward democracy. Until then, Bush, butt out, fix the problems here and in your war, and hope that you keep your job in November. As John Kerry said in one of his speeches:" There is only one American who deserves to be jobless in this country, and it is George W Bush" John, I couldnt agree more, and I hope you can go about making him jobless, at least for the job of president, come this November.

I despise Castro but the embargoes outlived it's usefulness. These new regulations are just politics. It's an election year, and the Cubans in Miami make up an important voting bloc. So,this is to keep them happy.

Personally, I, while NOT a communist in any way, have to agree with one statement he made......that Bush got elected fraudulantly. That election was the scam of all scams. Nevertheless, I also agree that the embargo against Cuba has outlived its usefulness. The man is even welcomed in this country almost on a yearly basis so he can visit NYC and go to Broadway shows etc. .
While HE himself and is Dictatorship of a country that is soooo in need of freedom and change, should be taken out of his Position there or perhaps needs to wake up and smell the cafe' con leche' so we can all sit and smoke a nice Cuban Cigar in comfort......things could be alot nicer between the two countries. Someone has to step up and make changes or at least make the offer. Between walls, wars and embargos, there are just too many international restrictions. We all share a planet called earth and all should have the right and ability with comfort to share what this earth has to offer. We all don't have to agree on everything......that is what freedom of thought and beliefs are about. There is a simple solution to every problem but "GREED" seems to have a priority in the world. THAT is the only true problem.

If President Bush would lift the embargo, then the Cuban people could see what they are missing and then they would blame Castros polices and not America.

I've been to Cuba and most Cubans do blame Castro when they're in private.Pieces of the embargo have been chipped away over the past few years, the US can engage in transactions with Cuba involving food in exchange for currency. We're currently their 10th biggest trading partner.Castro also routinely invites out American businessmen to tour the island and look at possible investment opportunities. In all honesty,Cuba should have been given the chance to hold a referendum on becoming a state after the Spanish American War.
