President John F. Kennedy was assassinated and now a mobster in prison is saying that he fired the fatal shot from the grassy knoll. I have long thought that Lee Harvey Oswald was not the only person in on the assassination.

The possibility of a second gunman and conspiracy in the JFK assassination has been the subject of a lot of debate for the last 51 years. But one thing you can take to the bank is that James Files, the man who has "confessed" to being the grassy knoll gunman, had absolutely nothing to do with it. The guy couldn't be more full of shit. He has been shilling his story for over 20 years. The only thing sadder and more pathetic than his story is that he found someone after all this time willing to not only air the story, but also trying to pass it off as new information and a break in the case.

I will never forget that day. I was in junior high school, in art class, when the public address system came on without explanation, allowing us all to listen to the live radio broadcast.

Same kind of thing thing happened to me, except I was in grade school. It was recess. They let us out early, but few of us were happy about that. I was scared shitless. What kid wouldn't be after hearing that the president had just been murdered? I was glued to the TV all that weekend long, along with everyone else.

Two days after the assassination of John F. Kennedy, the man arrested for it, Lee Harvey Oswald, was murdered on camera by Jack Ruby (born Jacob Leon Rubenstein) while still in the custody of the Dallas police force.

Many contend Ruby was involved with major figures in organized crime, and conspiracy theorists widely assert that Ruby killed Oswald as part of an overall plot surrounding the assassination of President Kennedy. Others have argued against this, saying that Ruby's connection with gangsters was minimal at most, or circumstantial, and also that Ruby was not the sort to be entrusted with such an act within a high-level conspiracy.

I have, and there is nothing there that I haven't seen a million times. Files story held no weight when he first came out with it back in the early 90's, and nothing has changed that fact in the ensuing years.
