utah surges to number 2 but florida takes number 1 and there will be no split national title

Eh, I was just happy to see that Penn State didn't fall out of the top 10. As far as next year goes, Florida will be the favorite by far if Tebow stays followed by USC (if Sanchez stays). If those 2 things happen I think you have:

1 Florida
2 USC
3 Texas
4 Alabama
5 Oklahoma St
6 Old Miss
7 OU
8 Utah
9 Oregon
10 Penn State

If not then flip Texas above both Florida and USC.

i dont think those 2 go that high.. especially utah the non bcs conference teams never get the respect they deserve

I really like that Florida is #1 simply because they are an SEC school. I grew up and still am a HUGE UGA fan (sick 'em dawgs) but I am NOT a Florida fan. The issue with Utah is how long will it last? Just like Boise State..they run the tables but look at who they play. Also, after the beating Hawaii took not too long ago (by the dawgs by the way lol) people are kinda hesitant to rank a non BCS school so high. But, I think Utah is making a GREAT case.

Utah still retains most of that defense that shut down Alabama and Oregon could be dangerous. Also I know non BCS conference teams get a little flack, but Boise State and Utah are in a class by themselves. TCU is a dangerous team as well.
