Well my beliefs differ from yours.
I myself am an artist, however I'm not much of a contributer to these forums.
i know from personal experience, that getting negative feedback can be a morale killer for artists. that's my point.
If someone lets criticism crush their spirits, then they aren't going to make it far in life.
However, Snail here understands my criticism.
That is precisely why I do it.
There's several artists here who's art is so godawfully disgusting that I won't even bother.
Snail Shell however shows promise. While his art now isn't le cream o' the crop, with enough practice he'll surely get somewhere.
I am telling him the flaws in his art, so that he can improve on those points.
It just sickens me when some of the worst art I've ever seen get's praised here.
Enough to make me want to vomit.
(Not your art Snail, I'm talking about other pieces of dreck that are posted here.)
