Finally making myself known

Hey there everyone.

I am a LONGtime lurker who finally has mustered the courage to peek my head out and try and "announce" myself on these forums.

I've been in the chatroom from time to time but never post here. Maybe it's because I have a semi-public job and am afraid of being outed. Maybe it's just general shyness.

For whatever reason I've been feeling unhappy as a whole for a while now, and figured trying to get more involved here might be the cure.

Heyas, I dig the publicness bit (I worry about that myself, but probably for less reason.) I'm guessing though if you keep yerself civil on here and don't do something like use the same screen name everywhere you go and/or post your picture or phone number you'll be fine (oh yeah, and use your personal computer, not the one on your work desk...) Anyways, congratulations on delurking an have fun. 🙂

Hey welcome on board. However, most people lurk here all of the time. There are apparently almost 600 active members and guests on here right now, although maybe one of them (me) is actually trying to post anything. Other people seem to be hiding in the chat room or doing something which may eventually require them to visit an optician.
