Finding a room in Chicago?

I'm gonna meet up with a friend in Chicago for some tickling. Problem is, with our schedules, the only time available for the next few months is weekdays between roughly noon and 3pm... during which time it's hard to find a hotel willing to allow a stay. Thought I'd post here in case someone knew of a place that might suit. Open to creative suggestions. Thanks.
