First Accumulation Of Snow For NYC In Two Years.

For the first time, in two years, Mitch, "Weather Man" of the TMF posts that there is my favorite weather saying.

A : "Winter Weather Advisory " for New York City for 2 to 3 inches of snow from Monday night into Tuesday.

This seems like a blizzard considering the virtually snowless winters the last two years.

As it is only January 15, we will get through this first, and then see if anything else occurs

Well my area of NY state got less than a foot so I'm grateful for that. Buffalo unfortunately suffered 4 feet of snow and a travel ban that lasted a day or two.

A "Winter Storm Watch" is posted for NYC on www.weather .com for supposedly. 5 to 8 inches of snow, for mainly tomorrow

It is supposed to start as rain tonight, and then during the night , change to snow.

The temps are not supposed to be very cold, so we will see what actually sticks
