What do these three have in common other than being old farts....?
They have all resigned their current positions to move on to other things.

Many of you already know through private conversations that I have been planning to step down as a moderator here at the TMF for a few months now.

I wanted to make sure our P & R forum got off to a good start and made it through this years's election process before moving on. It has done well and many good debates can be found there for those interested.

Moderating on a forum such as this takes up a lot of personal time.
I have found that my personal time is in high demand from the things going on in my life.

I have a 5 year old who is growing ever so smart so very quickly that I may have to study just to keep ahead of him. He needs a lot of time from me for interaction with his school (PTA, conferences, field trips) and he is fast becoming a social butterfly often coming home with girls' phone numbers having been invited to birthday parties and such.

Work is getting more and more hectic. The company recently went public and the stock is doing extremely well. Expansion is moving more quickly than expected and it is a really busy time for me right now. Tis the season to sell products......

I have plans for Venray's Place that involve at least two model shoots with girls that I know personally to build the site with some new and original material. Negotiations are going well, but again take time.

Add to that the older son in his first year of college, me teaching him to drive to cut down on my taxi time, my 12 year old daughter who is going through her 4'th "I miss my daddy crisis" since the divorce and an ex who just sold the house and moved them all in with the new boyfriend (great guy though) and marriage plans that I am sure will be imminent...and ..well...as you can see there just isnt enough time for all of that and this as well.

I have decided that it would be best to step aside after 1.5 years of forum moderation and go back to regular membership at this point in life.

I have enjoyed the interaction with each of you (with very few exceptions) and have enjoyed forging some friendships which I know will be long lasting.

I will still be here as a very active member and open to you all for anything as I always have been. You can always PM me or email me at

I have worked here with an awesome staff of moderators and administrators who have done a great job of providing a comfortable place to come and discuss our particular fetish or just about anything else you could think of. I will always be available to help in any way I can to as they well know.

Venray, I've only known you for a short time compared to some of the longtime members of TMF, but I'm sure gonna miss you and your sense of humor and fantastic photo submissions. Thanks for the thread you made on my behalf (SLEEEEEEPY...for Featherfingers)! You were also the very first moderator to issue me a warning when I first became a member of TMF. (I've behaved nicely ever since, I hope you've noticed. I was new, I didn't know all the rules)

Here's to you, my friend. May you and your family have a wonderful 2005 and I hope you'll visit us from time to time.

Second, while we did not always agree in our thread debates in the P and R, I still found you a fair and good mod to deal with. I will be sorry to see you step down as a mod, but it sounds like you have a lot of important things going on in your life right now, and Iam glad things are going well for you. I wish you well in all your plans, and Iam glad you will still be staying with the forums as a regular member.

Ray, your reasons for stepping down are more than valid, they are more obligitory. For the short time I have been here, I haven't received any warning b/c I watched my P's and Q's. I will say that I think you did a great job, as well as all the other mods to make it a place to feel like you can freely express yourself.

I don't think you got to see my reply in the moderators forum before your resignation took effect, so I will add a reply to your official announcement here.

For what it's worth, Ray, I felt you were one of the best damn moderators this forum has ever had. I thoroughly enjoyed teaming with you on the moderating staff, and your presence from those forums will be sorely missed. I am quite relieved you will remain an active member on the forum, but moderating will just not be the same without you on the team.

Good luck with your offline endeavors. Needing the extra time to appreciate every free moment you have with your quickly growing family is completely understandable and respected. The time you have now is too quickly lost, so it's important to cherish every ounce you can.

But it's gonna be a long while before the echo of your voice fades from the mod forums...

If I read this right you still plan to visit TMF, you just won't be moderating.

No doubt about it, we'll miss your even-handed application of moderators' duties... but as long as I get to read your stuff from time to time I think I'll get by.

It has been more than a pleasure working with you this past year and a half. I can understand why you're stepping down as Moderator as your life is getting very full these days. I know you'll still be a very active member of the community and the TMF, but it's gonna be weird not having you around as part of the team.

I wish you all the best in your future endeavors and thank you for the contributions you've made to the TMF with your time, energy, wisdom, humor and all-around hellofaguyness. Having known you for four years now, I can attest that there are few with the dedication to the community that you possess.

Thanks for all the great work you have done behind the scenes here- i can only guess at the amout of time it must have taken up.
