A very good start. Now you need to practice.

By luck or good instincts, you managed to get your proportions at least half-way decent, and getting proportions wrong is usually the biggest "beginner" mistake.

What are your goals? Do you have a hankering for drawing original characters, or is fan-art what you want to do? My advice is to do fan-art only if it's what you want to do. If you want to do original characters, jump in and do an original character for your next drawing, rather than another piece of fan-art.

On the technical side, you need to make better scans or photos. Also, the image is on its side and needs rotating.

Practice! Go ahead and do another drawing.

i am currently waiting to get a scanner and in all honest i dont know whether i want to concentration on my own characters or fan art initially i just want to draw!
