First Post-NFL Monday

I'll be celebrating my Steelers sixth Super Bowl win for the rest of the year and the rest of my life! I already headed out this weekend and got a Harrison Super Bowl XLIII jersey.

Anyway, I noticed a distinct difference in my life already yesterday (sunday) and today. With the pre-gaming, game-gaming, and post-gaming being done for awhile, it was much more peaceful all weekend, my house is cleaner, I got all my ironing done for the week last night, I was five pounds lighter this morning, and I woke up feeling pretty good.

Nothing left for me to do now except say, "Bring on baseball season!"

Now that it's all over and I've enjoyed another SB victory for my Steelers, I feel empty inside. Apart from NASCAR, I have nothing to watch on tv until preseason starts in August.

Ah well...another great season for everyone, with highs and lows for all. Unless you live in Detroit.

That was probably the greatest Steelers season I've ever been blessed enough to witness. Maybe they'll do it again in the 2009 season! Impossible to say. Free agency is looming in the NFL now and that changes everything.

Well, I've been a Yankees fan since around age nine so I do have baseball season to look forward to. If the Yankees make it to the Series this year it will be the greatest season for sports that I can remember.

I have the combine, free agency, and the draft as my sports entertainment after the season is over. I begin to miss football after the draft. There's absolutely nothing going on between May and the end of July when camps begin.
