Hello!

Well, I apologise right away for the roughness of the image and the quality of the shading. The former is mostly because of my unsteady-hand with the mouse, the latter partly due to the former and partly due to my own impatience. I hope that you will enjoy this small picture! And hopefully I will be able to better serve you as I get used to the situation.

P.S. In case anyone is wondering, my condition has mostly stabilised (just a few tremors now and again, usually when it is warm), and I am well along the road to recovery! Thankyou.

Its good to know that your doing better. The picture looks just as great as all your others.

really cute pic, and wow that's really ace mousework :D

it is so difficult to control those damn things

me much impressed, many thumbs up :D

Nice

For a piece drawn with a mouse thats pretty damn amazing. Good luck on your recovery, hope all goes well. :D

Good to see your getting up to full working order again, Pryde. You may do backflips when you get better! :D As for the toon, that's not bad at all, in comparison to your outstanding hand-drawn pieces you've done. Nice one! I've done mouse drawings before. They give me a fucking headache!

what program did you use to draw it?

it's great, i just wanted to know what art program you used.

Hello, thankyou all for your generous words.

Yes, I still am without a scanner, so I will have to draw with a mouse. A Wacom tablet would be nice, but is not financially feasible. So, I will see what I can do.

On another note, one simply cannot mention mouse drawing without mentioning Tukano. His was one of the first sites that I stumbled onto when I decided to search for others on the web with a passion similar to mine. (Another was the page of the infamous TerriTickle, but ...) Anyway, I just want to say how much of an influence Tukano had on me, at least when it came to tickle-art. I sent him an open-ended story once, about a few female astronauts and some tickle plants. Imagine my surprise when he just decided to illustrate the story! I don't know if I would have started drawing if not for Tukano; I might've, or I might not've. Either way, his work is excellent and I wish that he were still around so that I could express my gratitude.

Well, ok, I just did, but to him I meant. ;)

And yes, Chimp ... I had more than my share of frustrations with the mouse! Not to mention that, when I was about finished colouring it, the program crashed and I realised that I hadn't saved since the colouring had first begun. (Argh!) All in all though, this piece actually didn't take too long, when compared to the hand-drawn pieces. Odd, though probably not too surprising (look at the differences in size, for one, and quality, for another).

Master Cartman, the actual line drawing could probably have been done in just about any paint program, since I only use a single-pixel sized brush for the whole thing. But, the colouring and lighting effects, of course, wouldn't really be possible in something like MSPaint. (Well, maybe the colouring could! It would just take a lot longer.) But , actually I use Jasc Software's Paint Shop Pro (version 8, but 5 is always very nice -- just doesn't have the lighting effects as much).

Thankyou all again, I really appreciate all that you've said and done for me.

Couldn't see the full sized version. Going to have to check later. Saw the one on Yahoo though. Believe me, I know how difficult it is to do computer artwork, and man, you did a terrific job.

Tukano was also the first artist I found who I REALLY liked. I am still on the lookout for any artwork he has done. I already have most of his collection.
