Wrestlemania is over, here come the releases:

Mickie James: Figures. Likely will show up in TNA.

Katie Lea Burchill: Also figures, though they could have found something to do with her. Would make perfect sense with Desmonde Wolfe, but I bet she disappears.

Fu Naki: Honestly had no idea he was still on the WWE roster.

Slam Master J: About damn time.

Jimmy Wang Yang: Would make a good addition to the X Division, or could go to Japan.

Shelton Benjamin: If he's not TNA champ in a year, I'll be surprised and sad.

WWE never ceases to amaze me with crappy roster management decisions. Mickie, well, I kinda saw that coming since they've been harping on her weight for a good while now. Dissapointed they didn't utilize Katie Lea, too. But Shelton Benjamin... damn, TNA is gonna be all over him.

I thought micki james was going to become a country music artist.

Backstage News: Possible Reason For Mickie James' Release

According to a report on F4WOnline.com, WWE gave Mickie James the axe today in part because of some trouble during the recent European tour.

Apparently James, more than once, arrived late for the bus, holding up travel for the rest of the WWE crew. That was considered the final straw as James already had heat on her stemming from her disciplinary move to SmackDown! a little while back.

Mike Knox also released. Maybe a TNA guy, though they already have enough big monster types.

Mickie James Katie Lea: TNA Knockouts Division just got a whole lot more competive.

Shelton Benjamin: His style is mode suited to the TNA pure althelicisim superstar i.e. your AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels and so forth.

As for the rest, anyone looking to start a low buget company or looking for some credebilty?

I think Mickie James and Maria both are good examples of what happens when you try to do something outside of WWE / Titan Sports. They both were trying to start their music careers, and I don't think Vinnie Mac was a big fan. If this were the 80's, they could have been part of that Pile Driver album, or whatever it was called.

Plus, neither are WWE's typical "diva", though they were two of my personal favorites.

This also reflects how replaceable a diva is in the WWE. They don't like you, they'll find another pretty face to take your spot.
