Labor negotiations having failed, MLB has now canceled the first week of the regular 2022 baseball season. The originally scheduled opening day was Thursday, March 31st. Now, the earliest that the season might begin is Thursday, April 6th.

I say, a pox on both your houses. I won't be attending any MLB games this year. I remain a season ticket holder of the (minor league) Brooklyn Cyclones.
