I don't think they're legal many places as the tanks can't be properly cleaned between customers.

Also the fish should be eating plankton and shit not dead human flesh. They are usually purposefully starved so they can eat from multiple patrons (increasing risk of infection).

There's a little tide pool on the soundside just south of Avon, NC on Cape Hatteras.. Outside of where the families frolic (to the north side) is a tide pool (usually, I assume) in which small fish congregate -- and YES, they will eat your feet!!! It tickles like hell and takes all you can muster to not react!

Well, these fish pedicures made for some great accidental tickle videos. It was also where Lily Singh, Hayden Panettiere and Kim Kardashian's ticklish feet were discovered. If only more celebrities had the fish pedicure done while it was still popular.
