fish spa pedicures

hi everyone.
does anyone know of any of those garra rufa fish spas which are still operational in the Lancashire /Cheshire areas of the uk .
they used to be in every shopping centre and town a few years ago.
An extremely ticklish lady friend wants to try it out, as conventional pedicures drive her nuts,although it is great fun to sit and watch. lol
any locations would be gratefully received, and of course photographed, filmed, and posted on here. lol

all but vanished from the streets in my neck of the woods.

Some still seem to exist at well-established health farms and spas, but nothing you can really pop into while out shopping in town.

I heard something somewhere that said that due to health regulations, all equipment used to perform pedicures has to be sterilized between uses, and since there's no way to sterilize fish without, like, you know... killing them... they have to get new loads of fish all the time, which is costly and inefficient. Also, I apologize for killing your joke. >w>

Side note, I have sort of always wondered how much those fish pedis actually tickle. Like, I know I've seen videos of people getting them and reacting with ticklish squeals and wriggles, but I've also seen plenty where the people getting them don't react at all. Part of me wants to try one for myself, just to feel what it's like... X3

I remember when fish pedicures were trendy. I would have tried one just to see if it really tickled, but the "unhygienic" factor put me off. But yeah, it seems like those things are closing down now.

I think they have all shut down due to some heAlth nd safety rules.
What a shame. Would have made great viewing. Lol
