Mostly Harmless, I loved the gifs you did, especially of DC’s work, but can’t seem to view the compressed flash files (it’s either me, my computer, or both 🙂 ) I have winrar but can’t seem to stumble my way through it 🙁 are they too big to post uncompressed?

I’ll keep trying 🙂 but I hope you haven’t given up on the gifs all together. (my imagination fills in the sound part 😉 )

the .swf are already compressed format, actually rar only enlarges file size when used on them. But TMF, allowing a whole bunch of different formats, doesn't allow old, simple, oh-so harmless swf 🙁 so as TTh...

I used webfile.ru to upload uncompressed Erica, hope you will have no problem with russian hosting service. His policy also forbid direct file linking, so you should visit here to get the file. If that movie won't work also - I suppose you have old version (or have none) of Flash player, cuz I used Flash MX to make movie and I heard it has
matching problems with old Flash 5.


What about gifs... um, sorry, I'm afraid I left them in the past. Gifs are soundless, simple movies w/o any interactivity - what attractiveness could they have?..

Here's an idea. If the Flash anim is from a website, why not post a link to the site itself? This way, users can go to it, view the file without having to download it and worry about file types and such. Unless of course, it's not on a site.

Just a stray thought.

Truth to tell, it doesn't worth much - just picking up some old tails..
And yes, for correct work you should save the movie on your harddrive; as for me, playing it in the explorer window has some little problems - cutting the sound halfway, and noticeable slowing of animaton.

Well.. let's try one more method: DO NOT try to unpack these two, just rename them to .swf.
If that will work, I'll use it in future.

How can I change them to .swf. files? I was never really that in depth with computers.

Just rename them via Windows Explorer. Or do your OS hides file extensions?
then open "My computer => View => Folder Properties => View (again)", and in "additional tuning" take off the V from option Hide extensions for registered filetypes.
