Believe it or not, this scenario has been living in my head for years, but until very recently I didn’t have a convincing way to represent adhesive tape in DAZ Studio… an absolutely essential element for our friend—hmm—“entomologist” to securely pin down the specimen for a… “thorough, in-depth examination.”

For now, this is my first attempt after getting minimally familiar with the new material, so let me know what you think. But honestly, a whole new world of wicked possibilities is opening up before me. 🤔

I can promise you that in this case I wasn't familiar with your post and I didn't base this on it. Could you send me an image, just out of curiosity?

Aside from the significant differences between genres, the closest reference I had to my own work was a certain cover from the "Crossed" series, a comic featuring a group of people infected by a virus who become bloodthirsty sociopaths. One of the covers showed an infected Peter Pan doing something terrible to Tinker Bell.

The original story is probably long lost to data erosion - broken sites, old HDs, sheer passage of time.
I don't even know where I put my original drawings.

But it's true that we're both nerds and love fantasy, horror and sci-fi.
So we get similar ideas from similar sources.
Great minds...?
