flip flops and sandals

hi all
so, over here the telltale signs of summer have appeared, the masses padding around in flip flops, the surge in beach huts along the coast, the long evenings, but mainly its the flip flops and sandals.
around college most people tend to wear either light sandals, ballet type shoes (called dolly shoes for some reason), flip flops or sandals. and there are a few girls still clinging to their uggs.
ive taken to wearing flip flops around college, and broke them in today.
so what this basically means is that there are loads of soles and toes on view lately. ive seen a few people slipping out of their flip flops and sitting around barefoot, and the inevitable foot tickle incurs much giggling.
it always seems that flip flops seem to trigger people to tickle the wearers.
though i haven't been foot tickled today, there have been many pokes and prods to my ribs and underarms.
has anyone else noticed this?
something about flip flops just seems to make people want to tickle others, which is great really😀 but no one seems to expect it.
are they just too tempting?
have any flip flop/sandal wearers on here been sneakily tickled?

Sorry if I offend anyone, but those Ugg boots are an abomination! If I never see a pair again it'll be too soon. (I have deep-seated rage after an Ugg boot fell on my hamster, Mr. Whiskerton, and squashed him...actually no, I just think they look ugly).

I think they look stupid.

I prefer regular, tan boots myself. That and thermal socks - when necessary, of course. Cotton all the way! ^_^
