Flooding in Central Texas

Several counties in Central Texas are being indudated with rain.Marble Falls in Burnett county had 19 inches over the last 24 hours.Williamson and Lampassas counties have also been hard hit.There have been several deaths and many people have been forced from their homes.Rescue operations had to be abandoned in some cases because of the downpour.

That part of Texas is vunerable to flash floods because of the terrian,as i know having lived there.Please keep these folks in your thoughts and prayers.

What a horrible situation!

The only place I`ve ever seen rain like that was in the Philippines. My thoughts and prayers indeed go out to these people.Living here on the east coast in North Carolina,we,too,see our fair share of flooding,especially during hurricane season.These disasters are so devastating!All of the people affected will need help,quickly! Here`s hoping we who can,step up!
