Focussing on the Art in Tickling Art

Recently, I used one of the pictures I have in my tickle collection as a background. Most of the pictures in my collection are there because... well... I just have a thing for cartoon women in general, and tickling them is a bonus. *shrug* But staring at that picture (if anyone wonders, it's the first in the lineup) for a few days made me really appeciate it as eye candy in its own right. I realized it truly was a work of art.

So I searched my collection for other pictures that I could enjoy looking at all the time, and came up with four that I was keeping around just because I liked the way they looked.

So I thought I'd share them with the group (though the group already has them, since I got them from here) and ask everyone if they have any tickle art they'd like to share.

Each of these pics are special for a particular reason. The first is a foot tickling pic, but for me, the eye seems drawn to the breasts. I'm not sure why, other than the fact that they are the most perfectly drawn breasts in my collection, and possibly that I've ever seen. They aren't my personal choice for the 'perfect' size, but they certainly seem to work for her! I also really like her facial expression.

The second I would keep regardless of how it looks. The reason, I think, are obvious. 😉 But again, the eye is drawn to the breasts. With all the other activity going on in the picture it wouldn't seem like it, but mine are. There are several other things about the pic that I enjoy as well (the way she holds onto her hair, her expression, even the way the tape on her thighs gives the illusion of stockings, and of course the Q-tip) but her breasts are the capstone.

In the third, I just can't seem to take my eyes off the back of this girl's thighs. The foot is excellently drawn, the expression is classic, but the thighs are the magnet for me here. The moisture on the skin is perhaps slightly overdone, but accents everything nicely.

I stumbled onto the fourth when I was hunting for good stories. It seems like it's only a few lines, really, but they're perfectly placed. There's something about the way the hips and legs were drawn here that really gets my attention. I don't even know what it is, because I would think the legs make her look a little fat, but it just screams "woman" to me. Very very well done.

Art Continued

These last two get points for pure creativity. How on earth did the artist imagine THIS scenario? I don't know, but I wish I could know more about it!

I'm actually somewhat nervous about posting these and calling them art. I don't have any particular reason; my eye isn't drawn to anything as it is in the others. Perhaps I'm just a sucker for bright colors. I just know that I really, really like these two.

Theres a lot of pictures where i feel like that too, theres just some pictures that i really enjoy looking at for different reasons, whether its a ceartain part of the drawing, the situation etc theres all kind of things that attracts you to different ones i guess:happy:

This is why I'm hesitant to post anything on here. GOOD Tickling art is never always about the tickling.

Nice stuff... some of it new to me. And I agree... tickling is secondary to me... first thing is always the art. That's how I write my stories, and that's what I like to see in everything... for it to be more than just masturbation material. I appreciate it when I have a feeling someone not into tickling would enjoy it as well. Tickling is just a sugar topping to the whole thing to me🙂

Thanks for this thread. Its really made me think about my art. I know that I do try to do the things that I personally find sexually exciting and maybe I have put more onus on THAT than the art itself.

I'm working on part 6 of my ticklish predicament series now. I know that I do try to put tickling in every scene (or implied tickling or some kind of reference to tickling) but in all honesty there are some "stills" I'd like to add that I didn't because I felt they didn't have any erotic value - even though I loved the pictures.

One example is that I have been toying with an almost entire episode of dialog between two characters with practically no tickling or erotica in it. But I didn't know if the reader would tolerate it or not, even though I need to do something like that to move the story along. Another is that I've been wanting my wife to script something so I can go outside the box a little and work on something I might not find such a turn on.

Anyway, again thanks for this thread. It really made me think about where my art is going.
