Foot Care

I was laying on a sunbed today (a good time to let your mind wander and have a good old fashioned think) when i wondered if TT actually had a foot care thread? Well, i had a quick look and i couldn't see anything, though mods feel free to delete/join this thread if there is one and i've just been blind!

Anyway, foot care! I was just wondering what the Ladies and Gentlemen of TT do to take care of their feet? Does anyone have any good tips about foot care/home pedicures? Anyone have any crazy regimes? Does anyone suffer from those horrid summer fungal feet things like athletes foot and just want somewhere to winge about it?? (I know i do, i bloody hate it!)

Anyway, my foot care is pretty simple. I use a pumice stone after a shower and usually take good care moisturing my feet. Also, being from the UK i recommend Lush (http://www.lush.co.uk/) who specialise in handmade cosmetics! They sell this wonderful stuff called "Running to the Embassy" which is basically a peppermint foot scrub bar/body butter. It's quite expensive but i toootally recommend it, i looove the smell! :happy:

Fortunately, foot care is a mainstream concern as it is of course a form of proper hygiene and cleanliness, and there are plenty of books and reading material available to help people better care for themselves. :happy:

As for myself, I don't really do anything elaborate as far as foot care is concerned. I really just wash them when I take showers. My feet naturally fare well in all types of situations, and so aren't afflicted by things like blisters, bunions, discoloration, and things like that, nor have I ever suffered from rashes or anything like that.

I guess I'm blessed, for a male that is. LOL
