Okay,

For some reason or another lately I have been losing ticklish sensation on my feet (can that happen?). I am looking for ways for me to regain it. I was thinking on making my feet softer since lately it has been slightly rough. I was told to use foot scrub with pumice in it. I am a bit skeptical because pumice is kinda like a rock. So it's kinda like filing down your feet in a minimal way. Now in all actuality, I would presume that in the long run using the pumice will make it rougher because its kinda like sand paper just without the paper. Sorry if I do not sound coherent. If there are any questions on my reasoning please ask.

Feet can be less ticklish when their rough especially the back of them. I like to have a really hot bath with some kinf of moisturiser then file the rough skin away, but i clean my feet a lot so i hardly get hard skin anyway:super_hap

excellent advice, sounds better coming from a later rather then another dude!
I have found that Bag Balm can help keep feet incredibly soft and sensative! the only problem is not alot of people enjoy it being on there feet.........also sleep with think socks on with fresh lotion underneath

My gf just uses lotion of some sorts. Any kind will work for her, thats about all I know about it.

it helps if your not on your feet all day, too. my job has me on my feet about 10 hours a day, so keeping them soft is hard.

Bed Bath and Beyond has lotion socks that lock in moisture and the best lotion is called miracle foot repair which is $10 a tube at wal-mart and makes my feet smooth in 2 or 3 days, it's the best stuff, though i go through a tube a week.

Don't want to be a negative nanny, but just to be sure, you might want to get checked for diabetes. Peripheral nerve damage can occur when left untreated and it "could" be a sign. Also could be nothing, but it's odd to "lose" sensitivity suddenly if you have had it before. Anyway, a checkup wouldn't hurt and let the doc know what you are experiencing. There are of course many medical and non-medical reasons that could cause lose of sensitivity. Just wouldn't want you to lose something that gives so much pleasure.
