Foot tickling question.

If your toes are tied and pulled back exposing your bare soles would you prefer to be tickled slowly with something like a ball point pen or ruthlessly with lotion and a hairbrush?

I think in most of the oil/hairbrush scenes out there, the tickler goes way too fast with the brush. Brushes are great but being slower and more deliberate I think is more effective.
