Wow, talk about close calls in this week's quickie! It was a two-parter, asking how many passing yards Tom Brady would gain against the Ravens defense AND how many team rushing yards the Pats would gain on said defense. Just FYI, BOTH winners were decided by a single yard over thier respective closest opponents. This contest is getting that close in the closing weeks.

Ok, so who won? The winner on the passing yard question was...

Traveler! Trav picked 178 yards and Brady tossed for 172.

The winner for the total ground yardage question was...

TTD! He picked 147 and the Pats collectively ran for 144.

Both of these players will receive a win for this week!

Congrats to our Quickie winners and good luck to everyone this week!

😎

(A note on "total yardage" questions: After having a discussion with a player in PM's, I thought I'd clear this up. Any question involving total team yardage means just that, not just the yardage by the starter and/or his back-up. On all stats-related questions, I get my final info from the offical source of NFL stats, NFL.com. Thanks!)

One question, Dave, how can TTD win when he was over?? wouldn't it have went to the person who was under??

I think it's whoever comes closet and if it's a tie then who is over loses and under wins???

Let me reiterate the rules on tiebreakers and numeric picks. It is the same rule used for the weekly pick tiebreaker score. It DOES NOT MATTER if you go over, as long as you are the only one closest. The only time over/under comes into play is if two players are the same amount away from the answer, then the one closest without going over wins.

For example: Let's say the question is how many running yards Jerome Bettis will get. Jerome gets 150. One player guessed 148 and another guessed 152. Both are within two. In this case ONLY, the player with the lower pick wins. Same situation, player 1 guesses 147, player 2 guesses 152. Player one is within three, player 2 is within 2...player 2 wins regardless of going over.

Feel free to PM me with any rules questions, I'll be more than happy to help! 😎
