Very creative, I would not have thought about this way of restraining feet for tickling or other fun activities involving feet. However, without actually seeing a set used in person, I would be concerned that in order to tighten them enough to really keep the feet from moving you would risk injuring toes when the victim tries to move suddenly.

The pics are from old Realtickling clips. I believe the press was TIB's invention. Cute idea, but it puts the toes completely out of play, and foot tickling without toes is like eating cake without frosting!

An especially apt comparison, FB. I've seen this method employed before,.... and it's probably useful for certain edgy forms of ultra torture,... however I've used much better ways of keeping soles & toes vulnerably taut AND comfortable for more playful engagements.

I've thought of making something similar that the 'lee would be kneeling with their feet hanging off a board that had surfboard wax on it where the toes were and the ankles tied to it so the right amount of tension would hold the toes at just the right position. The surfboard wax keeps surfers feet from slipping off their boards, and would keep the toes from slipping off that board and you wouldn't have to tighten it too much. This would give you the best access to that taught skin on the soles of the feet. If you've ever tickled someone's feet when they are kneeling you know how they react. Apparently it tickles like hell! This device would keep them in this position until you've destroyed them! 😛
