For Buffy Fans....The Buffy Animated Series Revealed!

Fans of the Buffy show will remember that a few years ago Joss Whedon put together a short, nearly four-minute pilot of his proposed "Buffy Animated" to shop around to the various networks.

As you know, sadly, it was never picked up.

But now, for the first time ever, that clip has mysteriously become available for viewing on YouTube for fan consumption. And I gotta say, this clip is a total hoot!

We just started watching the tv series over again with our son...amazed at what we missed the first time around...

Looks real good, sounds like Tony Head and Nicholas Brendon lend their voices to the animated characters.
But I'm still waiting for a big screen continuation of the original series. Or at least an "Angel" movie.

Supposedly the art of that specific animated series will be featured in the latest Buffy Season Eight issue.

On a related note, Buffy sure has changed a lot in Season Eight...

Liked the humor (same as the show, basically), but the fight at the beginning was a little too cheesy. Jumping all the way onto a fire escape (and almost the top of a building?)? Buffy's a Slayer, not Spider-Man or a freakin Power Ranger! 🙄 (yes, she can jump higher than normal humans in the tv series, but not THAT high)

As a buffy fan....I'm "psyched" about it. I liked it. It beats the hell out of the drug-ridden crap they come out with today. At least you can follow the story. The animation is also pretty clear to understand too. I wish it would be a animated series. I am guessing that it still hasn't been picked up yet.
